Crews rescue cow from river

Crews from Hicks Gate, Bedminster, Bath and Kingswood were called to reports of a cow in distress at 17:24.

On arrival, crews found a cow stuck in a river.

Using small gear and ropes, crews were able to rescue the cow and leave them in the hands of the farmer.

Fires account for nearly half of all accidental child deaths.
