Freshford Lane, Freshford, Bath
Firefighters have rescued a man after he slipped and fell down a steep embankment.
When crews arrived at the scene they found the 48-year-old suffering from suspected knee and ankle injuries, approximately 10 metres down a slope.
It’s thought he had lost his footing while walking on the path above and slipped.
Using a roof ladder and safe working at height equipment, firefighters climbed down to the man, along with paramedics, who treated him.
He was then assisted into a stretcher and lifted back up to the path where he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
