Crews called to electrical fire

The Avenue, Bath

Crews from Bath, Patchway and Hicks Gate fire stations were mobilised to reports of a fire. 
 
On arrival, six firefighters in breathing apparatus used one CO2 extinguisher and high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire. 
 
They also used a 45mm jet for safety, a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property. 
 
The cause is thought to be accidental.
