We're pleased to reveal our second fire engine wrapped in our striking poppy design that commemorates all those who have given ultimate sacrifice.
Wrapped ahead of Remembrance events, designers worked to produce imagery that reflected all aspects of remembrance The artwork features firefighters, soldiers, poppies and planes flying overhead, to pay tribute to all those who have lost their lives protecting others.
Chief Fire Officer Simon Shilton said: “As Fire Service staff, Remembrance is very important to us, as it is for the wider community.
“We wanted to create a design that pays a fitting tribute to those who have lost their lives protecting others, and I am very proud of the work that has been done.”
The truck wrapping comes as part of the Service’s wider scheme of Remembrance, with staff also taking part in minutes of silence across the service area.
Newly wrapped, the fire engine will spend time in service in and around the Kingswood area.
