Firefighter Daren Beacham, who is co-ordinating the challenges, said: “We decided to support this wonderful charity after visiting one of the hospices (Charlton Farm) last year. They really do fantastic work.

“I would like to thank everyone who is supporting us for their kindness. Please come and see us on Sunday as every donation helps us get closer to our £5,000 target.”
