Clarence Road, Redcliffe, Bristol
Firefighters were called to assist after a road traffic collision left a cement mixer in a precarious position.
Crews received the call to the incident which involved two vehicles, a Renault Clio and the cement mixer. The drivers of both vehicles were unhurt, with the driver of the truck having a particularly lucky escape. The mixer collided with two barriers between the road and the river, before coming to rest with the offside wheel hanging over a drop of several metres to the water below.
While recovery was being arranged crews from Temple Fire Station secured the vehicle to ensure it didn’t fall into the river.
