02.09 Bath Road, Brislington, Bristol
On arrival at this incident crews found two cars, a Toyota Yaris
and a Mitsubishi Carisma, which had collided.
The female passenger in the Toyota, who was in her mid-20s, was
unconscious and there were concerns about her breathing.
Firefighters stabilised the vehicle and then assisted paramedics
in getting the woman into an ambulance.
The male driver, also in his mid 20s, was suffering from face
and head injuries, but was conscious.
Firefighters assisted paramedics in getting him into an
ambulance. They were both taken to hospital.
The driver of the Mitsubishi was already out of the vehicle when
crews arrived.
The incident was left in the hands of the
police.
