Two hurt in RTC

Crews were called to the grounds of Southmead Hospital after a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.

On arrival they found a 52-year-old woman, who was out of her Toyota Corolla. She was suffering from shock and minor injuries. Firefighters administered first aid at the scene and she was then taken into the hospital to be checked over.

A 69-year-old man, who was in the second vehicle, a Ford Focus, was suffering from suspected whiplash and was also taken into the hospital for a check-up. None of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening.
