The South West Command Development Centre at Lansdown, near Bath, is situated in a former 1950s nuclear bunker, which now belongs to Avon Fire & Rescue Service. After major refurbishment it is now one of the most modern and up-to-date centres for command training and incident simulation in the country. The centre has parking for over 80 vehicles and catering can be arranged to suit your needs. The South West Command Development Centre has five main functions: a Command Training Centre, Assessment and Personal Development Centre, Gold Command, visual and audio production studio and a 82 seat conference centre.
