How do I apply?

To apply for an initial application pack for retained firefighter, download the forms listed below and complete and return them to the following address:-

Alternatively, to request a pack by post:

• contact the recruitment team on 0117 9262061 extension 353;
• write to the recruitment team at the address above;
• call into your local station's drill night;
• fill out the form below and we will forward the information to you.

Receipt of your inital application will be acknowledged in writing and you will be contacted again when your local station is recruiting, at which time you may be sent a full application pack and brought forward for assessment.

To avoid disappointment you may wish to check your proximity to one of our Retained stations.
