Avon
Fire & Resuce Service (AF&RS) use a number of
performance measures to check how well we are doing.
Two of these are part of the National Indicators used to measure
local services, set by Communities and Local Government (CLG)
department. In addition to these we set a series of Local
Performance Indicators (LPIs).
AF&RS report our performance annually in a

The Audit Commission have completed the audit of our 2008/09
Performance Report and have identified an issue that requires
correction regarding how we were calculating days lost to
sickness.
We recognise the need to put things right and have
published a Performance Report Addendum 2008/09 (PDF 34kb,
opens in a new window) detailing the corrected figure and
why it has been amended.
