Firefighters were
called to the aid of a young teenage boy after he became stranded
on an island in the middle of a park in Redfield.
The boy is
believed to swam out to the island with a friend, but was unable to
get back.
A triple extension
ladder was used to bridge the gap across the water and a
firefighter then walked across to the boy and led him back to
safety.
