A young girl has died following an road traffic collision.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found a small van,
with a young female, thought to be around 13-years-old trapped
underneath.
Using hydraulic lifting equipment firefighters raised the
vehicle, as they believed the girl was still alive. However, when
paramedics arrived on the scene they confirmed that she had sadly
died.
Crews then assisted with the recovery of the body and the
incident was left in the hands of the
police.
