Woman suffers smoke inhalation

Tuesday 30 December
22.20 Cranmore Place, Combe Down, Bath

A woman in her 20s was given oxygen therapy by firefighters after a fire at her home.

When crews arrived they found a small fire in the bedroom of the property. It appears it started after either an unextinguished cigarette or tealight was placed into the bin.

Even though the fire was quite small the smoke caused a lot of damage to the upstairs of the property.

Fortunately no one was hurt and the woman was left in the hands of paramedics.
