A woman had to be rescued from her burning home, after a fire in the kitchen.

When crews arrived they entered the premises wearing breathing apparatus and found the woman in her 50s, in her bedroom suffering from smoke inhalation.

She was given oxygen therapy and crews helped her outside, where she was left the hands of the paramedics.

The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental.
