On arrival at this incident crews found a woman in her 20s
trapped after her vehicle had gone into a verge and hit some
trees.
Using hydraulic cutting equipment firefighters removed the roof
of the vehicle and assisted paramedics to help the woman onto a
spinal board.
She was suffering from suspected spinal injuries and taken to
hospital by ambulance. Her injuries are not thought to be life
threatening.
