19.05 M5 southbound between junctions 20 and 21
A woman has been cut out of her car after a road traffic
collision.
It’s thought her vehicle left the road, crashed through the
barrier, through a fence, into a field and ended up in a ditch.
As she was suffering from suspected spinal injuries,
firefighters worked alongside paramedics to assess the situation.
Crews then used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof of
the vehicle.
The woman, thought to be in her 20s, was then assisted on to a
spinal board and taken to hospital.
