Firefighters rescued a woman in her 50s and her dog after a fire
in the kitchen of her home.
Crews from Brislington and Speedwell administered first aid to
the woman, who was suffering from smoke inhalation.
She was taken to hospital by ambulance.
It’s thought the fire started in the microwave.
Firefighters also rescued her dog from the
premises.
