Two people have been taken to hospital after a car they were in
collided with a wall, leaving them trapped.
When firefighters arrived on the scene they found a Mini Cooper
involved in the incident. One male in his 20s was already out of
the vehicle, however a male and a female, also in their 20s, were
still trapped.
Firefighters quickly stabilised the car and then using hydraulic
cutting equipment they removed the roof of the vehicle.
The female casualty was assisted on to a spinal board and taken
to hospital in a critical condition. The male casualty was also
assisted from the vehicle and taken to hospital with non
life-threatening injuries.
