Shed destroyed in fire

11.54 Wednesday 26 November
Cleveland Bridge, Bath

Firefighters were alerted to a fire in a shed opposite the fire station, on Cleveland Bridge, by a member of the public, who saw flames coming from below the bridge.

Two pumps and the turntable ladder from Bath attended the incident and on arrival crews used ladders to drop down by the side of the bridge and access the shed.

Crews then had to force entry to the shed, which was well alight. They used a high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire.

No one was hurt, but the shed was left badly damaged by the blaze.
