A man in his 50s has been taken to hospital after a road traffic
collision involving two vehicles.
When crews arrived on the scene they found a Ford Mondeo and a
Ford Galaxy involved. The man was trapped in the Galaxy and was
suffering from back pain.
Firefighters stabilised the vehicle and used hydraulic cutting
equipment to remove the roof. Working alongside paramedics the man
was then assisted on to a spinal board and taken to
hospital.
