16.39 Elberton Road, Sea Mills, Bristol
Firefighters have rescued a man after he
suffered a seizure while working on the roof of his garage.
When crews arrived they found the man in his 30s conscious and
breathing, but unable to get down.
Using safe working at height and confined spaces (SHACS) equipment
crews climbed up to the man. Working with paramedics he was
assisted on to a stretcher and then on to a platform on the rescue
tender, before being lowered to the ground.
He was then taken to hospital by ambulance but his injuries are not
thought to be life-threatening.
