Firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a house in Bath.
When crews arrived on the scene they found a blaze affecting the
ground floor of the property and reports from the neighbours
suggested there may be someone inside.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the house
and conducted a thorough search of the premises. Fortunately no one
was found inside.
Crews tackled the fire using two high pressure hose reels and
one 45mm jet. A thermal imaging camera was also used to check for
hotspots once the fire was out.
The fire was confined to the hallway area of the property, which
was badly damaged, and the rest of the house suffered heavy smoke
damage.
