Firefighters have rescued a horse from a water-filled ditch.
When they arrived they found the animal stuck in thick muddy
water – it had been there for around an hour.
Working alongside crews from Bath, who have specialist animal
rescue equipment, firefighters placed strops underneath the animal.
They then attached them to the Hiab on the rescue tender and the
horse was lifted to safety.
The animal appeared to be unhurt and was left with its
owner.
