Firefighters have rescued a young girl from an adventure
playground after she slipped and broke her leg.
When crews arrived on the scene they found
the 17 year old in an enclosed area of the playground
approximately 20 feet up. She was unable to climb down due to
her injuries.
As the enclosed area was built of wood firefighters used an
electric saw to cut away part of the structure. Working alongside
paramedics they then assisted the girl on to a stretcher.
The Hydraulic Platform was then raised up to the area and the
girl was lowered to the ground.
She was then taken to hospital by
ambulance.
