Firefighters help RTC victim

One appliance from Temple Fire Station, which had been attending a call to alarms activating in Park Street, was just about to leave when crews witnessed a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Park Street.

Firefighters quickly went to help the male pedestrian, who was thought to be in his 20s. He was suffering from head injuries, but was conscious and breathing.

Firefighters administered oxygen and first aid to the man and waited for an ambulance to arrive. The man was then taken to hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
