Thursday 17 June
13.38 Alfred Hill, Kingsdown, Bristol
Firefighters have been to the aid of a man, who managed to
reverse his car up on to a wall.

When crews arrived on the scene they found a Peageot estate car
on a small wall and a man in his 40s still inside the vehicle. He
was unable to get out as there were fears that the vehicle would
roll down the steep hill it was on.
Firefighters quickly stabilised the vehicle using blocks and
lines and then assisted the man from the car.
They then attached the Hiab lifting arm from the rescue tender
to the vehicle and lifted it up and back on to the road. The driver
was then able to move the vehicle up the
hill.
