Firefighters were called to this incident when local residents
noticed a fire in an office building
Luckily the fire, which had been started outside the front door
of the property, had not taken hold but crews noticed that another
small fire was burning inside a window at the side of the building.
The had to break in to get to the fire and extinguish it, which
they did using breathing apparatus and a hosereel.
Because of the twin seats of fire an investigator was called.
The next day the fire detection dog ‘Cracker’ attended and
confirmed that accelerants had been used. The police were informed
of these findings and are investigating
