Public Register

Under the Environment and Safety Information Act 1988 as amended by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRFSO) Avon Fire & Rescue Service (AF&RS), The Enforcing Authority, is obliged to keep a Public Register about certain notices issued under the RRFSO (Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005).

Members of the public can look at The Public Register, free of charge. Appointments can be booked Monday to Friday, between 10am and 3pm at the Bristol Fire Safety Office, Avon Fire & Rescue Service Headquarters, Temple Back, Bristol, BS1 6EU.

Copies of entries in the register may be obtained for a fee.

The information available on The Public Register will include the following:

  • Issue reference number
  • Date of the notice
  • Address of the relevant premises to which the notice relates.
  • Name(s) and address(es) of the person(s) on who the notice is served
  • The matters giving rise to the notice being served

Details of notices that have been withdrawn are not available.
