21 - Don't let your Christmas go up in smoke

Don't let your celebrations go up in smoke

Snowflakes Never smoke if you think you may doze off, especially if you have been drinking, and never smoke in bed.

A lit cigarette near furnishings could easily start a fire, giving off dense and deadly smoke and fumes.

Did you know that two or three breaths of toxic smoke from a house fire can knock you unconscious? Having a working smoke alarm is the only way to buy valuable time to get out of a house fire. Find out more about the Toxic Smoke campaign.

Remember - make sure all cigarettes are extinguished properly in an ashtray.
