Employment Monitoring

As a public sector organisation, we are required to collect monitoring information about our staff. We monitor on the equalities strands - age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion or belief, and ethnicity. This helps us learn about who is working for us. The list of what we monitor our staff under is as follows:

  • staff in post
  • managers in post
  • applicants
  • applicants shortlisted for support staff posts
  • people appointed to a new post
  • staff who have left the organisation
  • staff who have access to certain training
  • and staff subject to disciplinary and grievance procedures.

We collect this information regularly and publish it annually. Our Recruitment Data (PDF 214kb, opens in a new window) document contains our employment information from 31 March 2010 and is the most recent report.

We also monitor on bullying and harassment and who leaves the organisation. Our Bullying and Harassment Data (WORD 48kb, opens in new window) contains information on cases we have dealt in the period 2008-2010.
